Crafty Wednesday – Little Gardeners  

Wednesday 30th May, 10.30am-12noon

Little gardeners can decorate a plant pot, plant their own sunflower and make a mini windmill or scarecrow to take home.

Watch your Sunflower grow over the Summer.

Prize for the tallest one (this will be judged in September).

£3 per child, no need to book in advance. 

Voyages of Discovery (with Creative Royston)

Thursday 31st May, 10.30am-12noon

Introducing this year’s Royston Arts Festival theme in partnership with Creative Royston.

Join storyteller Alex Jones for some interactive stories including “The Snail and the Whale” and “Are You The Pirate Captain”

Drop-in activity no need to book in advance. £3 per child.

Community Showcase Launch: Royston Town Band

Discover Royston’s Past (Town Trail evening)

Discover the town’s rich history, with a guided/self-guided tour of the historic town centre and key sites.
When you’ve completed the trail retire to the Museum for wine and nibbles.
Event organised by The Friends of Royston Museum to raise funds for the ongoing development of the Museum.

Guided Heath Walk

A short walk of the historic Therfield Heath with commentary on the Heath’s flowers
by the walk’s leaders Janet & Roger Moreton of Royston Ramblers.

Optional additional longer 4-5 mile walk after the Heath section of the walk.

Walk begins at the Heath Café. Booking in advance essential.

Royston & District Model Railway Club @ Royston Museum

An event for serious model train enthusiasts, as well as our younger visitors, who are obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine.

Pop into the Museum and see the train layouts put together by Royston Railway Club, on display for one-day only.
