Play in the Past

Whether it’s experimenting, building, moving, imagining or puzzling, toys have filled little worlds with play and wonder throughout history.  In this exhibition you can see familiar favourites such as spinning tops and a rocking horse, alongside a few surprises, like a miniature carpet cleaner!

The exhibition is open during the Museum's normal opening hours, Thursday - Sunday, 10am to 4pm, and admission is free.
