It’s time to grab your party hats! Royston Museum is celebrating its 40th anniversary on Sunday 28 April, and you’re invited to come help us celebrate with plenty of fun for the whole family.

The installation is the coming together of museum objects, danced and filmed participants stories, creating a web of connections that cross at the old printing press. Follow the strands of memories and maybe even add your own!

Royston Museum opened its doors at the old school of the United Reformed Church on Saturday 28 April, 1984. In the second of our ‘40 Years’ exhibitions, discover more about the Museum’s history in the beautiful building we call home.

Start your engine, blow your whistle and chocks away for transport fun this half term. Design a vehicle for our community art project, see how far you can fly your plane and more, there’s something for everyone.
