About the event

Discover the art and archaeology of the Royston Cave.

This exhibition was curated by six Year 10 students at King James Academy, Royston, as part of their work experience at the Museum. On display is a collection of artwork by the students and archaeological finds from Royston Cave. This is what they've said about their exhibition:

For our work experience, two people were researching the carvings at Royston Cave and made illustrations of their interpretations of the carvings. The other four looked into the animal bones found in the Cave to theorise how they ended up in there. Both of these things give us an idea what the cave may have been used for.

The exhibition is open during the Museum's normal opening hours, Thursday - Sunday, 10am to 4pm, and admission is free.
