Work Experience
Work experience is a great way to find out more about profession. Our work experience programme allows students at King James Academy, Royston, to go behind the scenes and see what we do on a day-to-day basis, whilst developing key lifelong skills in communication, organisation, and teamwork.
During their time at the Museum, they will have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities, including:
-
Contributing to a temporary exhibition
-
Assisting with planning and preparing for family activities
-
Creating social media posts and marketing
-
Welcoming visitors

We are partnered with King James Academy for work experience, and also support their careers programme in school. As we're a small team with limited capacity, we are unfortunately unable to welcome students from other schools.

If you are a King James Academy student and are interested in doing work experience with us, please email us at hello@roystonmuseum.org.uk.
